In the
summer of 2004, the Williamsburg Summer Soccer League will
kick off its19th annual season on the campus of the College
of William and Mary. All games are played on Busch Field,
home of Tribe soccer. Competition is scheduled for Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday nights throughout the months of June,
July, and August (6:00pm - 2:00am).
REGISTRATION
$525 covers
all league fees for the 10 game season if paid in full by
May 30th. If payment is not received by May 30th, cost is
$550. Profits from the league benefit the W&M soccer endowment.

COMPETITION
There
are seven levels of competition to choose from: Divisions
1,2,3 (Men's), Div. 4 (Over 30 Men), Div. 5 (Co-ed Open Aged),
Div 6 (Co-ed Over 35 Men/Open Aged Women) and Div. 7 (Women
Only). Games will be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings
in June, July and August. Players may play for one men's or
women's team and/or one coed team. Teams using illegal players
will forfeit the game.
SCHEDULES
Schedules
will be E-MAILED out after May 30th. Leagues and means of
determining champions will be fixed after applications are
received.
APPLICATIONS
Applications
must be received by May 27th with full payment. Only the first
48 teams to apply can be guaranteed acceptance. Click

AWARDS
Division
champions will receive 15 championship t-shirts.
WSC
LEGACY
William
and Mary and the Williamsburg Summer Soccer League are proud
to share Busch Field this summer with the Williamsburg Legacy,
the Williamsburg Soccer Club's new Premeir Development Team.
On eight nights this summer, the league will play directly
after a Legacy home game. Please be sure to note if you prefer
to play or not play after these games. For more information,

UNIFORMS
Teams
will be expected to have matching jersey t-shirts. Vests will
be provided, if color conflicts arise.
FORFEITS
Games
start on time if each team has at least 5 players. If one
team needs to wait, only a 10 minute grace period can be allowed.
A forfeit counts as a 5-0 victory. Double forfeits count as
a 0-0 tie.
BEHAVIOR
No smoking
or consumption of alcoholic beverages will be allowed at Busch
Field. Bad sportsmanship will not be allowed by players or
spectators. Offenders will be asked to leave the area.
RULES
Games
consist of 22 minute halves. Substitution will be on the fly.
There is no offsides. Co-ed teams may only field up to four
men at a time. Game balls need to be provided by teams.
